747 is one of the older bears now at Brooks being first identified as a sub adult in 2004. He is one of the heaviest bears at the river estimated to be around 1400 lbs., and can fish very well in the jacuzzi or the far pool. Due to his ears, he is sometimes referred to as Colbert and has won the fat bear tournament many times.
